Off Site Committee Review Findings

The TAMUS Board of Regents appoints the President of PVAMU upon the recommendation of the Chancellor. The Regents also evaluate the President annually (Board of Regent Policy 1.3). Documentation provided included a request by the Chancellor for the President’s self-assessment for 2009, but no evidence of a review was included.

Prairie View A& M Response to Off Site Review

In accordance with Texas A&M University System Policy 02.01 [1], the President of Prairie View A&M University is evaluated annually by the Chancellor of the Texas A&M University System [2][3]. The Chancellor reviews and provides written and/or verbal feedback to the President based on a self-evaluation submitted addressing pre-determined evaluation areas: Major Accomplishments; Incomplete Goals and Projects; Institutional Barriers; and Nurturing and Developing Administrators and Staff) [4][5].
